In her role, Kristi facilitates the implementation of Princeton's comprehensive Sustainability Plan by working collaboratively with students, staff, faculty and the greater community. She also coordinates the process to track and report on the University’s progress toward its sustainability goals, as well as initiatives that include the student GreenLeaders consortium, and the student employment and staff Ambassador programs. Prior to Princeton, Kristi served as a science and policy analyst and writer at Consumer Reports where she played a lead role in developing and implementing strategies to evaluate and communicate the health and environmental impacts of consumer products and services, and advanced the organization's public health policy agenda through research, writing and analysis. She received her M.S. degree from Tufts University, with a major in Agriculture, Food & the Environment, and her B.S. degree from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, with a major in Biology. She is currently an MBA candidate at New York University. She also serves as a dining services technical advisor for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and is a senior fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, yoga, and studying French.
