Mend is a Princeton student-led group dedicated to teaching students and faculty how to mend their own clothes! They are passionate about slow and sustainable fashion. In teaching others how to sew and mend, they hope members of the campus community can reduce their clothing waste, consumption, and environmental footprint.
Mend Pop-Ups
We host weekly pop-ups every Monday in the Eco Lounge (Frist 118) from 7:00 - 9:00 PM where you can bring your old or broken clothing, bags, or unfinished projects, and we can teach you how to fix it! We have functioning sewing machines, irons, clothing patches, buttons, needles, thread, crochet hooks, yarn, embroidery materials, scrap fabric, and so much more!
