Kristi plays a lead role in advancing policies, programs and practices to achieve the University's performance objectives outlined in the Sustainability Action Plan, working collaboratively with students, faculty and staff. She serves as the organizational and strategic team lead for the Operational Engagement and Impact Analysis program area, managing a portfolio of projects and initiatives that integrate sustainability into operations. She is also responsible for managing the institutional sustainability reporting program, including tracking Princeton’s progress toward its goals.
Prior to Princeton, Kristi served as a science and policy analyst and writer at Consumer Reports where she played a lead role in integrating sustainability information across CR publications, and advanced the organization's environmental health policy agenda. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant with a focus on increasing organic textiles in the marketplace.
Kristi is a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program, and previously served as a technical advisor in Food & Dining for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). She holds an MBA from NYU with specializations in Sustainable Business & Innovation and Management; an MS from Tufts University with a major in Agriculture, Food & the Environment; and a BS from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry with a major in Environmental & Forest Biology.
Kristi’s undergraduate education was partially financed through the sustainable management of her family’s small forest in upstate NY.
