The Princeton University Farmers Market will return for five weeks to the Firestone Library/ Chapel Plaza on Wednesdays from April 13 to May 11 open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Members of the University and local communities will have an opportunity to purchase fresh locally grown produce and other goods from area farmers and businesses that use sustainable practices. Expected vendors will provide a range of items including organic fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheese, locally sourced honey, cold-pressed juice, nut butters, locally made breads, organic sandwiches and salads.
The market is co-sponsored by the High Meadows Foundation Sustainability Fund, the Office of Sustainability, the Graduate Student Government Events Board, Undergraduate Student Government Projects Board, Campus Dining, and the Office of Community and Regional Affairs.
