Earth Day Art Mural Contest

April 7, 2020

*DEADLINE EXTENDED: Submit all designs by Friday, May 1 at midnight.*

This year for Earth Day, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with PICASSO (Princeton Inter-Communal Arts Students Service Organization) to host a mural contest for the Eco-Lounge, a new student space hosted by the Office of Sustainability's. Since this space will be for students, we want the mural to be by students!

Students can choose to work collaboratively on mural projects or create individual works of art that address the prompt: What does Climate Action look like at Princeton University? What do we hope to accomplish in the next 50 years?

Submissions can range from sketch to full design.  Let your imagination and creativity go wild!

Dimensions for the space are approximately 10’ x 10’

Send your submissions to [email protected]  Submit all designs by Friday, May 1 at midnight. The winner(s) will be announced in May and will work with designers in PICASSO to see their vision achieved.

We will provide more information about how the larger community can be involved in the painting of the mural in the fall semester!
