Conversation with Naomi Klein and Ashley Dawson
The Princeton Environmental Institute and the Princeton University Art Museum will host a conversation with journalist and author Naomi Klein at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in McCosh Hall, Room 50. Klein will discuss her bestselling book "This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate" with writer and environmental activist Ashley Dawson, the 2017 PEI Currie C. and Thomas A. Barron Visiting Professor in the Environment and the Humanities. Klein's visit is timed with the major Art Museum exhibition, Nature's Nation: American Art and Environment. A public reception at the Art Museum will follow the lecture, during which time the galleries will be open for viewing Nature's Nation.
This event is free and open to the public.
Klein is the second speaker in the Art + Environment event series organized by PEI and the Art Museum in conjunction with the exhibition — other events include the Oct. 25 lecture by environmentalist Bill McKibben and the upcoming Princeton faculty panel, "Environmental Perspectives on Nature's Nation," on Nov. 30.
